The Diploma of Remedial Massage (HLT50307) is a high level qualification in the Massage Industry, with the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice (HTL40307) as a mandatory pre-requisite.

A key differentiating feature of our Diploma of Remedial Massage course is that it includes extensive orthopaedic testing and mobilisation techniques for the whole body which is taught live by our Course Coaches so you can get the same recognition as our on-campus students.

The on-line Remedial Diploma course is a HYBRID course where the theory components are taught on-line but a significant portion of the practical components requirements are taught live by our Course Coaches. Therefore the Remedial Diploma course is only available in one of our Queensland Campuses (Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast).

 remdial massage courses class

The Diploma represents a significant and exciting step up from the Certificate IV program in the level of understanding and application of functional anatomy. The focus is on identifying and then treating musculoskeletal dysfunctions.

This qualification opens many more doors in the health industry, and successful completion of our on-line remedial massage course allow our students to gain full membership with industry associations such as the Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT).

This is because the Hybrid nature ensures we can verify that the on-line students have undergone the same live practical coaching and assessments as well as clinic under the supervision of our course coaches, just like our on-campus students receive.

This means the practitioner can apply for health provider status, thus allowing their clients to claim a rebate from their private health fund for the treatment received.

How we teach you on-line

How we teach the theory subjects on-line:

The theory lessons are all broken down to simple to understand 5 - 10 minute on-line sessions (approx 300) which you can redo as often as you wish

There are many small, on-line, multiple choice quizzes at every stage to check your understanding. You can redo the quizzes (with new questions) till you pass.

There is no big final exam, or stress, at the end as you will have completed all of the assessments as you progress through the course, at the completion of each subject.

How we teach the practical skills on-line:

Your practical sessions for the On-line  Diploma of Remedial Massage will be taught in class in our Flexible schedule which requires two evening classes for the practical sessions be attended each week.

On-line students studying the Diploma of Remedial Massage can start their theoretical subjects on-line lessons at any time but they will need to join one of our Flexible part time Remedial classes to do all their practical subjects in the 26 weeks class schedule.

Your final step to graduation for the Diploma of Remedial Massage is 100 hours or 15 days of Student Clinic in your nearest Campus / Support Centre (Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne) where you are supervised to treat the public.

In addition to those topics covered in the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice,
Remedial Students also study the following subjects in our Remedial Massage courses (on-campus or on-line):
